Dinner and Dance
This entry is a little overdue.
Anyway, I attended NUSWS DND at Penny Black last Sat. It was a successful night, filled with loads of fun and laughters, and of course, pictures snapping. Kudos to the organising committee, one of whom I knew of, Daniel for their hard work and effort in lining up an evening of interesting and enjoyable activities for us.
A pleasant surprise for myself; that I won the 'Gorgeous' award. I really have to thank people who clapped and screamed so hard for me as a form of support. (:

Clarinet section was the biggest winner of all! We bagged all the awards, which includes the most 'Shuai', 'Gorgeous', 'Noisiest' and 'Quiet soul'. Moreover, quite a number of us collected goodies for BINGO! (:

My Beloved Pri Sch Friends
16 years. We've been friends for 16 years. For some, maybe 17 years. Whichever it is, I still pretty amazed that we're still keeping in contact with one another and celebrating birthdays together. (: Seriously, I've never exactly counted the years of our friendship; Not till Shufen popped this question to me yesterday, "Have you ever calculated how long we've known each other for?"
I'm really glad and thankful to have this bunch of good friends whom I can share my happiness and woes with. They are just so sincere and truthful, lending me pillars of support whenever I need them though we never meet up with each other often. But this is what friends are for; they are always there for you whenever you need them.
Time flies. I remember us back in our primary school days when we played five stones (and they can still recall my stones being the biggest amongst theirs. hehe), ice and water, catching, do-re-mi etc etc together..and how we knew of Ling Ling who's really good at five stones and we tried our means to exclude her from our games. So bad of us right? But those were the days...Now, we have one of them who has just assumed the position of Marketing Executive after her last day of exam at NUS, another contemplating to go for honours yr for her Maths major, one studying Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at NTU (and suprisingly enough, graduated from Lee Wei Song's School of Music a few yrs back. Didnt know he's muscially inclined!=D), one working as Tuition Coordinator, another as an insurance agent, and lastly, one who's going to be ORD next month.
Each of us may have moved on in life but we've never changed, as friends with one another for 16 or 17 years.
I treasure this friendship a lot. (:

A Day with my Faraway Friend
As promised, I brought Xiao Lu for a cycling outing at East Coast before she returns to her hometown 2 days later. We had one similar outing in Xiamen and we really enjoyed oursevles alot despite the gloomy weather. We still remember my promise to her that I'll bring her to East Coast beach when she comes to Singapore. Come to the think of it, nearly a year has past since I made that promise to her.
Though we didnt meet up with each other often since she came here last Dec, we had a good catch-up last Sat, and even prepared gifts for each other (:

I haven't been to the zoo for ages! I was only Primary 6 or Sec 1 (I think) when I last stepped into the zoo. Anyway, the zoo had changed quite a bit! There are now greater variety of food as compared to the solo KFC in the past and more exciting animal shows! (: Dear and I double dated with my parents, and we scaled the zoo on Labour Day.
