Happy Belated Father's Day to my Dad!!!
Didnt manage to celebrate Father's Day on time cos' the date coincided with my cousin's wedding. Speaking about celebration, this is the first year we're celebrating Father's Day! In the past, it's passed with giving cards that I made myself or buying presents for my dad. But I thought it's time to do something for a change since I've officially joined the 'twenties' club. Haha.
So here we are at Crystal Jade Xiao Long Bao La Mian restuarant. A treat to my dad from the three of us;sis, bro and I. Unfortunately, bro couldnt make it due to work.

BUzz BuzZ...Am I joining Queen Bee's Club soon?
Sooner or later, I'm going to join Queen Bee's club; I'm such a busy bee these days! Since the start of my special sem, I was fully occupied with studies, work, band and concerts till today. Luckily, ntu band prac is cancelled today;I could finally have time for myself.=) Ironically, I wished for a band prac too cos' I missed one on Wed. The pieces that we are playing for our upcoming concert are rather challenging. I really need the time to perfect them one by one in time for the concert to come. And speaking about the concert, it's a mere two months away!!!
Anyway, I shant blabber too much here and get on with real business. Time for the updates!
First annoucement: Fortunately or unfortunately, I'm officially 20. Haha. Anyway, it was a wonderful 20th birthday celebration for me. I really enjoyed myself during the celebrations with my different group of friends; So much so that I don't even remember myself crossing the 'twenties' age boundery. =) From the bottom of my heart, I thank my parents for the birthday noodles, my Sistaz for the advanced birthday celebration, my pri school mates for making an effort to celebrate with me at my neighbourhood (It's been long since I last cut a birthday cake. Thanks for the simple but sweet little birthday bash, my dear friends!), Candice for her lovely puzzle, Xinhui for the 'musical' watch - she still remembers that I love stuffs that are related to music, Desmond for his cute piggy hp pouch, my dear for Cartoonival, which reminds me of my kiddish days; they were reminiscing and also, the romantic birthday celebration by the beach at East Coast. =) Of course, not forgetting those who showered me with birthday wishes over the mobile phone and friendster; First on the list: Winter a.k.a int'l WRM - the most punctual birthday wish when the clock struck 12:00.Gee. Comes next, my dear, followed by Shufen, Jiunn Tong,Hui Huang, Rainbow,Phui Ling, Joshua, Nicholas,Huiting, Nancy, Zarifah, Clara, Eunice, Hiddy, Hui Yan, Yulan, Jianing, Poh Poh, Erina, Hansel, Deanna, Juan, Ganbee, Celine, Huixian and my cousins, Xiuning and Weijie. Did I miss out anyone in the list? Hopefully not! Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your sweet birthday wishes! I'm glad that you all still remember my birthday.

And here comes my very first Clarinet quintet concert at VCH! Probably Ian, Hansel, Desmond and Cheng Huat's first time too. =D We played Toreador from Carmen, Putting on the Ritz (contributed by Cheng Huat), Somewhere out there and Supermario; both arranged by Ian dear. The happy news for us is we received relatively good responses from the audiences! Yay=) Am truly glad that our efforts are well paid off!

Who's my type?
Huili, you're an Artiste!
Your type is the Artiste
Creative. Sensitive. A bit offbeat. Your type is the Artiste, a unique guy who knows how to express himself in many ways, whether it's through words, music, or attire. You're attracted to his unconventional ways and his remarkable talents. He doesn't feel compelled to abide by society's norms. He believes that individuality is the key to happiness, and everything he does is a reflection of his "inner self." You fall head-over-heels for such confidence and style. Whether he's playing a song he wrote for just you orwriting you a love letter, this guy knows how to make you feel special. He'sin touch with his feminine side and doesn't need to assert his masculinity to feel manly. If we were to paint a picture of your future, the Artiste would definitely be part of it!
So true!!! =) Doesnt it, Ian? *wink wink*

I shouldnt be blogging at this hour but...
Surprise! I'm now at my cosy home, sitting on my comfy cushion chair. Well..took one day MC from work. My wisdom tooth's fault. *humph* It causes my gums to swell, triggering pains in my throat. Nasty feelings. Just made an appointment with my neighbourhood dentist at 4pm. Hopefully I do not have to resort to extracting the tooth...=x

Had Sistaz gathering cum birthday celebrations last Saturday!

Dinner at Far East's Ramen Ten. Reminds me of Jianing's lame joke, "Maybe Kailing can go and open Ramen Nine, den I'll start Ramen Eight and Huili will go for Ramen Seven and...." *Blurr* Haha.

The 3 NTU ladies! hee. =)

Busy opening the tightly-glued envelope of my birthday card. =)

*Ta-da* Here comes the 2 birthday ladies; Happy Belated Birthday to Kailing and Happy Birthday in advance to myself! Thank you pple for your sweet birthday gifts^-^

Posing for our first pic at Orchard MRT. *Cheese* Pinching the left ear of orangy squirrel. Oops.

Pinching the right ear of the squirrel. Oops oOps. Poor squirrel!

Quickly posed for one last pic to avoid pple staring at us from escalator. >_<
Truly had a great time catching up with you ladies! Once again, thanks lots for the birthday gifts! I love them to bits =D

Exam results were finally out!
I thought it would only be out on 19 June. So does Huiting. Not till Daniel corrected me that it would be out on Tues. The info on the web for the date of release is obviously misleading. Anyway, I received it on Monday, earlier than I expected. Well, good for me too cos' I've been looking forward to it! I dislike being held in suspense. However, I don't deny the fact that I dreaded my results for stats, internet econs and craft of writing. I've absolutely no idea how my fate for these modules will turn out to be, especially for stats. I left a 10 marks worth of question blank. What more could I expect?
But my results spoke otherwise! It was a pleasant surprise for me. I didnt expect myself to do better than the previous sem, given the higher level of difficulty for certain modules. Still, I did it! Yay =) Now,I found a new unspoken strength; a greater sense of motivation to work harder for the next sem. No doubt it gotta be tough for me the next sem since I'll be working and schooling. Whatever it is, I must try my best to maintain my caps score at 4 and above =)

You won't believe it; I boarded it again!

What a spendthrift hor? Hee. Well, of course I took the DHL hot-air balloon again with a purpose. It was meant to be a surprise for hammy! =) He has been quite stressed up these days about certain stuffs, so I wanted to lighten his heart. A treat from me! =D Moreover, it can also be served as our (un-official) 10 months' anniversary! haha. Some pple may be rather puzzled what's with the official 4 months and un-official 10 months. Well...it's ok! So long me and hammy know can liao. *bleah* This is an impt anniversary to us. So happy that we manage to reach 10 months! =) Will truly treasure this relationship. ^-^

Work has been quite all right so far..Well..cos my trainer hasnt gone on maternity leave yet. hah. I dunnoe what I'll become when that day comes. For the past 1 week, she input me with overloading theories but minimal hands-on practice(when that's what I need the most). Cos' there aren't much of documents these days for me to really lay my 'hands-on'. All I could do is to refer to the historical records, and learnt from there. Luckily, I have abit of hands-on today. =)But I hope she wont go on maternity too soon, so that I can familiarize with my job scope better before she leaves!
Oh! I gotta mention this; my colleagues have been really good to me! They're some fun and cute pple to be with. If only I'm not too young for them! haha. Some do mind age gap you see.
