So yup, school started for a few weeks by now.. and I could finally squeeze some whee bits of time to settle myself down and blog!
I realised I have been so busy these days till I almost became very lost in the world of busy bees. haha. Hmm...now it's a great time for me to review them one by one;
For school, I settled with 5 modules; no overloading for this sem though I wished to. It all started from my failure in battling for the 'Introduction to black and white photography' module. I'm compelled to look for an alternative which would not disrupt my 4-day-week time table. And yes! I found it; Financial Economies. Oh well. An imperfect substitute to photography module, considering that it is an Econs prescribed core (meaning heavier load) and is examined. Of course, I won't miss this opportunity to mention that I got back my second least desired lecturer who taught me Money and Banking last sem. Argh. Ranking no.1 for the list of least desired lecturers is the one who took me for International Trade. But ironically for this module, I achieved a rather good result. Haha. And now, he's my lecturer for International Monetary Econs. *faint*
So during the Add/Drop module period, I was kinda standing by my laptop, hoping someone would 'vacate' the photography module so that I could enrol in it. Well, I expected the outcome. Who would want to drop when a module is so interesting and non-examined? I also had consideration of taking up NIE band module. Was rather enthu about it till the day before the audition. I realised that I may not be able to cope with NUSWS on thurs and NIE on Fri. On top of that, NIE band might stretch to late hours and make it inconvenient for me to travel home. Also, I heard quite a no of negativities about the band culture and stuffs which play a part in deterring me from entering the band. So yup, that's how I settled with 5 modules all in all. But I've to tell you that I really dislike Crystals and Symmetry!!!
Next, I may be going for a summer program with Wuhan University at Hubei, China in June/July! =D It was really not easy to get my mom's approval on this..but well, she's to give her consent cos' dad gave his! Dad is rather supportive, and I really thank him for that! I'm very excited about this exchange cos' if I successfully apply for it, I'll be spending at least 2 weeks in Wuhan, taking up modules which will eventually be S/Ued (meaning not taken into accounts my CAPS), interacting with Hubei and also, International students coming from all over the world, learning about the chinese cultures, travelling around Hubei etc..etc. It's really 'one stone kill two birds' la! On one hand, I can take up modules that earn me 8AUs; On the other, I can play hard since this modules have little disruption on my CAPS. I pray hard hard to get a place in Wuhan for student exchange! Btw, Rainbow plans to go too. Pray Hard that both of us will get it!=))))
Lastly, dear and I celebrated our first anniversary on tuesday! Time flies and our relationship has already turned one yr old. It was also a double happiness on 23rd Jan cos we celebrated dear's birthday too. An unforgettable celebration, and I really thank dear for everything; for always being there for me when I need him, for being my great listener, for helping me loads in my music, for loving me soo much, for all the care and concern, all in all, for being my most wonderful companion ever. May we've more anniversaries to come! =D
Yearn for the days of innocence
