Finally registered for the modules that I gotta take for next sem!
This afternoon was no doubt a rush hour for me; Wanted to leave the office 10mins earlier at 12:50 so that I didnt have to rush back home from Orchard. But under the close scrutiny of my manager who is just seated opposite me, I dare not stirred any movements despite finishing my job early. So I dragged and dragged when the clock finally struck one. And there I went in a breeze. Haha. =D
Walked swiftly to the train station and how slow could the train be! The waiting time was enough to kill me. Den come the slow traffic on my way home on bus 60; which seriously puzzled me as to why there were soo many vehicles on the road this afternoon. Cos' it was not even the peak hour that I'm talking about here! *mumble mumble*
When I stepped into the house at last, the time reads 13:58 on my grandfather's clock. I was like 'sheesh! The registration starts at 14:00 and I'm suppose to be ready at the registration webbie by 13:59!'(How kiasu could I be right?!haha.) But anyway, I managed to get ready by then (amazingly). When the time on my hp read 14:00, I clicked on "Add subjects to STARS." And guess what?! A text popped out from nowhere, saying that my registration was yet to begin. According to their timing, it's only 13:59. Oops. Was a little too paranoid, and extremely kaisu. oOops oops. =/
Eventually,I registered my modules punctually at 14:00 (according to the ntu webbie's preset timing)...but alas! I realised that I was not allowed to register for my econs elective! Agrhh.How irrtating. And I gotta place my general electives in terms of choices, like choice 1 and 2 and not registering both together. But the thing is I want to take both!And not just either or. Goodness gracious. *humph* On top of that, I found out through careful perusal of HSS registration instructions that I could only add the particular econs elective to my curriculum during the add/drop period. Aiyoo! So troublesome! Grrrr. The STARS sys really gt the nerves out of me. I agree what huiting said, "I feel like a freshie again!"Exactly. I feel like a freshie too! Suddenly couldnt understand how this registration sys works. To think that it is as system as just clicking 'Add subj to Stars; confirm the added subj' and tt's about it. Tenene.
Pray hard hard that I'll get my ideal timetable.=D

My only half day work this hols. *yay* Was contented enough la. Cos' this hols is indeed a short one. There aren't many days I can take half day off, else my pay will be greatly compromised! Well...time flies. School is reopening very soon! I only have two or maybe three days for myself before school starts. Will sure make full full use of these days and have great great fun!
Oh ya..I forgot to mention this in my last entry; I was soo pleasantly suprised to receive a x'mas card from an old old friend of mine who has been my pen-pal for all these years! Ever since she left Damai primary when we were both pri 5, we've yet to see each other since! She was like telling me that there were quite a no of occasions tt she wanted to ask me out for shopping or cycling etc but she just didnt have the courage to. I understand! That's inevitable since we havent seen each other for ages. Will organise one pri school mates' gathering soon and ask her out too. =D
