A careless being I am...
Never ever imagine myself driving on the road.
Yet...
3 hrs ago, I was trying to glue my attention on a stretch of the less busy road and at the same time, working carefully with the pedals, gears and steering wheel of my tutor's newly-purchased car(I assumed).
It seems easy on the outside. However for a beginner like me, it's more of a struggle on the inside to coordinate my mind, hands and legs movements.
To me, driving closely resembles the playing of a piano.
When one performs on a piano, it's essential to divide her attention into reading of music scores, moving of the left and right fingers on the keyboard, as well as pedalling. Likewise in driving; Watching out for cars, pedestrains and direction on the raods, changing of gears, steering and pedalling a.k.a the clutch, brake and accelerator pedals respectively.
In my second driving lesson today, I'm glad that I've slowly gotten the hang of driving a car. At least I learnt how to maintain my accelerator pedal which I'm more than happy than to achieve anything else. Tt's precisely one of the things that differ from piano pedalling. Cos' when you step on a piano pedal, you exert force and push it right down. (A not-so-common 'Half-pedalling' on the piano is a different issue altogether.) On the contrary, the same principle is not applicable to the brake and accelerator of a car, especially when the latter is a rather sensitive pedal.
For my case, I'm too used to pressing the piano pedal right down tt it somehow affects my good driving habits;the tendency to speed drive is inevitable. So now I gotta keep psycho-ing myself to take it easy on the accel. pedal.=/
*Psycho..Psycho..Psycho...*
Btw, all the very best to Weiee for her driving test today!>_<

Argh. *so sad*!Got news from Winnie a.k.a Osiris OGL that the OG outing is cancelled. I guess we probably wont hav any other time to meet up before school starts cos' Hall camp takes off the entire of next week(excluding the weekends! Most of us (I suppose) are attending the exciting camp. Well..I'm one of them too.Yeah. =D Be it gotta be a fun one or not, I see that the Hall orientation camp is an important channel to widen one's social circle in Uni.Wldnt it be awkward staying in the hall without knowing your neighbours? Tt's why I've absolutely no regrets going for my HSS FOC. Tt is a start-up point of enlarging my Uni friendster. Eventhough I've no initial thoughts of tiring myself out before embarking on my 'WMC quest', still, I dun wanna miss out the excitement installed for me next week.
There gotta be a first ever Hall 10 freshies gathering tmr evening. Wondering how it gonna turn out. Seriously speaking, I can't imagine full attendance of 100+ pple congregating at Somerset MRT station control and walk like a big gang to some foodcourts only to intimidate others. No matter what, Am looking forward!
