Took a half-day leave today..and so here I am into the the blogging mood. The leave tt's granted to me out of this wk's busy schedule really serves a good purpose. First of all, I havent been feeling in the pink of health since morning. Probably I've 'over-swam' the last evening with Bee ba..ironically we only managed six laps and now my body is aching all over. Tt shows how little I exercise yeah? Secondly, I have simply too many unfulfilled tasks at hand. If I dun take leave to finish them off, I've absolutely no idea when I wld ever fulfill them. -_-

Visited NUS and NTU open houses over last weekends. Imagine travelling all the way to the West on two consecutive days. Goodness gracious. I was totally defeated by the seemingly ever-lasting journey, which is like tt of 'Journey to the West. I wonder how I cld survive next time if I cld successfully get posted to NTU. Btw, I've somehow made up my mind to opt for NTU, Business. Had already analysed the pros and cons of admission to either NUS or NTU. Realised that NTU Buz is my cup of tea although I dun really fancy the institute as much as NUS....Alright, I've to admit tt there's some sort of discrimination here. *ooPs oOps* Most importantly, I shld to go for the course and not for the institute. Shldnt I? Yeah..and NTU buz meets my needs. So no doubt she's certainly my choice.
Well.. somehow or rather, I've placed the career prospects of the various courses into one of my top few priorites of consideration. After having a new colleague recently who's a fresh NUS graduate, I realised that a majority of the job markets only require a general degree. And the degree may not necessarily be of any relevance to the industry that you're working at. Oh well. Take my this colleague for instance; he's a Philosophy cum Psychology graduate and what's he now? A Personal Wealth Assistant in HSBC- a world of difference from his specialisation yeah? Even my Customer Service Manager, Jo told me as a matter-of fact that her Banking and Finance knowledge seems to go down the drain cos' she doesnt need to apply any of which on her work at all. She was like telling me," Trust me, you dun need a degree in Banking and Finance to work in banks." All I cld reply to her statement was "Triple dots." *Sigh* Well..it's okay, it's alright. I'll jus go for my interest, and dun think too much abt what I wld become the next time. ^-^
