My work assignment is extended to the end of Feb! Yeay Yeay! *jUmp jUmp* Haha~
I was overjoyed to receive such good news early in the morning upon reaching the bank. Patrina explained to me that there's a shorthand of FIO, and the person replacing Roseline wld only be joining HSBC on 21st Feb. So in the meantime, they need me ard to ease the workload...
Mmmm.. well..actually I dun think I help much either with my prolonged work span. Cos' as I told you in my previous entry, there are lotsa other transactions which are certainly beyond my means. *sigh* But looking on the brighter side, at least my presence comes in handy when they need pple to carry certain easy and unimportant tasks for them, for instance, photocopying of ID, calling for whoever the customer has made an appointment with and getting acknowlegement for a free parking lot enjoyed by Premier card holders. Hopefully I wld quickly get the hang of doing other more challenging things than my routine I-cheques reimbursement so tt I prove my stay even more worthwhile. =D
Frankly speaking, I find that customer service line is something I might consider to pursue in next time. Hmmm..having to work for HSBC close to 2 wks by now, I realise that I'm actually quite suited to this job nature and I do quite like it too. *hee* =) The feeling of being thanked by the customers is absolutely wonderful! Jus like today, I only did this particular lady a little favour by helping her to get one of the Premier's staff acknowledgement for a free parking lot. And the return was fantastic; She was soo grateful to me tt she held my hands while thanking me lots lots. *.....* I was momentarily stunned. However, when I recovered, I felt on cloud nine, and tt sensation was indeed indescribable. Tt, is really one gd thing abt cust. svcs. It makes you feel great when your customers are grateful of your help in whatever ways. =D
The staffs there seem to get friendlier each day, which I cldnt fathom why. *haha* Except for Patrina, Roseline,Steve and Joe, the rests of the pple in the bank were quite unapproachable on my first few days at work. Most of them carried a serious look tt made me freak out a little. In spite of tt, as days went by, some of whom started to talk to me..asked me this this tt tt.. and there is this funny lady by the name of....err..*oops* suddenly forgot her name *guilty smile*.. anyway, let me jus call her 'M' lady ba; addressed me as her 'Lover' in mandarin when I've helped her to do some stuffs tis afternoon. I was like 'Huh?!?!'. Den she asked me for my name and everything. From tt instant, she no longer pulls a long face upon seeing me. Instead, she gives me a sweet smile even! Well well..hmm..it's impt to be able to capture the hearts of your office mates ya? *laughs*
Am contended to be granted a beta today with no chunks and chunks of customers streaming in. *Phew* Let's hope for a beta tmr! =D
Btw, I finally gt the backgrd music done. I tot it was some kind of 'link' prob but as a matter-of-fact, I realised tt I've been quite careless for not checking the midi webbie carefully. I merely copied and pasted whatever Pohpoh had given me and took it for granted. No matter what, thanks Pohpoh for teaching me how to enhance my blog! =)
Hmmm..it's already Feb le. This is a mth full of festive mood with Lunar New Year and Valentine cum Friendship day. Good good! =D Still rem myself sloggin for endless count of tests last yr. This yr cld finally let my hair down and truly enjoy myself on these special dates!! ^-^
