Phew! Can finally rest my legs and have a good stretch. Was so busy the entire day!! Goodness gracious.

Early in the morning woke up rather reluctantly to work, given the fact tt I slept late the night before. (Romance of the 3 kingdoms ma..*haha* a definitely-cannot-miss episode cos' gt my ou xiang!! *lol* =D ) But it's beta den slacking at home on Sat's morning lo..gotta spend my long hols wisely.
^-^

Work was busy with quite a number of I-cheques customers the moment the bank was opened. Though half-day at work, I was kept fully occupied for tt short span of 4 hrs in HSBC doing mostly admin job a.k.a writing serial nos for the cheques tt customers had returned. Imagine a stack of $3000++ worth of cheques for which I've to write all their serial nos. on the XXX form. Goodness gracious. Lotsa effort right?
As a matter-of-fact, it's supposed to be the customer's job lo; They're required to write down the cheques no when filling up the form for refunds. But I offer to do it for them instead. Heyhey I promise you that never come across nice nice pple like me at any receptions k..(very thick-skinned of me to say tt hor..*lol*)cos' the staff wld be too busy with other more important task than this. They'll merely leave you - the customer with the form and let you D.I.Y. No help offered for things like rearranging the cheques in serial no order so tt it's easier for you to record them; Let alone filling up the serial no of the cheques one by one for you. Tt's the real world situation you see. As a temp staff and moreover I'm only specialised in the reimbursement of I-cheques, it's no doubt that I'm much much free-er than the rests of the permanent staff there at the frontline. Hence, I certainly dun mind giving my service to those little little things de. =D

Btw, one of the officers at the reception is leaving the bank le.. *sob sob* It's a pity to lose such a sweet-natured and efficient worker like her..who's so caring, friendly and helpful. She always lends me a helping hand whenever I'm in need of her and even offers to buy snacks for me and the rests of the colleagues whenever she's out for lunch. Feel comfortable to chit-chat with her at times too. ^-^ Despite the fact that I only know her for a mere 1 week plus, she's jus like a big sister to me whom I can rely on. However, the reality is cruel. *sigh* So sad that she wanna resign and (I think)go for beta jobs. Not very sure abt the latter. Anyhow, will miss her de..=D

Rushed home from work to teach piano.
Oh yah, gt my piano salary le! Yeay!! =D The first ever salary I ever received. *Jump jump* haha~

Had a quick lunch a.k.a fish porridge with X.H before setting off to Jurong IMM to buy ligature for my Clar.

Happily went to Band World only to learn that it's CLOSED. *tenene*!! Along our way to the shop, I still guaranteed X.H 99% tt the shop wld be opened today, tt's why I refused to call Miss Sia and enquire. How wld I know tt I was sO luCky to get that 1 pathetic percentage of no guarantee. *dots* Made a wasted trip dere. Seems like I'm fated to always make wasted trips in Jurong area. *lol*

Without further ado, we walked briskly with our high heels shoes to Jurong Interchange and take bus 335 to our performing area. Fortunately the bus came on time, and we actually reached the correct bus stop punctually too. But the neighbourhood near Jurong Spring CC was certainly 'overwhelmed' with pasar malams everywhere which cost our direction sense! X.H and I walked one big round only to know tt we've actually been hanging around the perimeters of the pasar malams except for getting into the heart of the area; which is where our destination supposed to be. *triple dots* In spite of tt, we're more than happy to find the place in the end before the start of the sound test. *heng!*

The CNY performance was a great one although there were a few slips here and there. Btw, Mus'art Percussion Club Rawks!! They looks COOL indeed when performing! Pple who had gone to watch the performance will know what I mean. =D Saw them performing once at Esplanade Drive a few yrs ago. Had forgotten what was the event den. However, tt's when I knew abt mus'art and everything. Din know den that an orchestra exist also ..But it's still not too late to find out last Dec, right? *haha* Love pieces like Dancing Megahits, Satchmo and On Main street. Too beautiful and melodious to be describable. You hear it, you'll like it. Yap..tt's the pt I'm trying to make.=)

Not forgetting to announce a piece of good news:
I've my work assignment extended till next Sat! Okay..not very long I admit but at least it's prolonged for a few days. *haha* Had enquired my manager, Patrina if she needs any temp admin worker in the office to work till June. Although she gave a disappointing reply, she promised tt she'll keep me informed once she's short-handed. Yeay!! =D

It's already Sunday le..For once I'm soo free on Sun with no band prac. Feels *weird*. But well..it's perfectly fine for me..cos' I think I need the rest! ^-^

Yearn for the days of innocence
