Tired tired tired!!!
With the departure of Roseline (one of the FIO a.k.a First Impression Officer),my collegues and I become more busy than ever. *sigh!* Worst, when one of the two existing FIO went for her lunch break, it's equivalent to only having one working staff at the reception. My presence there served no purpose at all cos' I dunnoe anything else except for I-cheques. *triple dots* Felt soo terrible for being such helpless. All I cld do is to ask the customer to give my colleague a min before he attends to him/her. *sigh* How I wish I can ease the burden of my colleague's work! Moreover, certain impatient customers were very demanding lo! They wan everything to be done fast and good. *tenene* Can't they put themselves in our shoes?!?! This line makes me appreciate the staff working at cust. svcs even better. Yupyup. =)
I look forward to a beta tmr at work. Hopefully the customers will be more understanding. Most importantly, I pray hard hard tt they come down to the bank at different time slots and not in 'chunks'. Else I really hav no idea how we gotta cope. :X
Buddy fetched me from work today! =D I was happily chit-chatting with one of the FIO by the name of Steve when he suddenly appeared at HSBC doorsteps. *hEe* Was indeed surprised at his pop-out. Actually, he's smsed my earlier abt fetching me but I was too busy at work to check my sms inbox. Really appreciate my sick buddy to travel all the way down from Millenia Walk to Claymore Hill. We den broke the record by walking from my workplace to Bugis before taking a train to Bedok. Cool right? *lol* Good exercise for both of us ma. However, felt quite bad to make him walk with me for such a long distance since he's in quite a bad shape - flu cum cough. Well, I gt flu too! Only that it's 'frozen' after work. Have no idea why also. cos' the thing here is my flu seems to activate when I was at work and die down at knock off hr. Weird hor? Hmmm..the flu virus must have condoned within the perimeters of the bank ya? *lol*
Anyhow, I've an inspiring chit-chat with Steve. He's jus like my great grand-senior, advising me abt making future plans before it's too late. Experienced, he talked to me abt certain instruments which are crucial at different stages in life. It sort of evokes some thoughts in me abt cultivating the habit of saving $$ instead of spending them away on luxurious goods. These savings will certainly come in handy next time when I'm in need of them. Since life is unpredictable, it's preferable for us to set aside some reserves for ourselves jus in case things go the wrong way. At least you can rely on these reserves and hang on to life ya? Do I sound profound here? *laughs* Some food for thought la. =D
*sigh* My little cutie xiao Luohan (pet fish) has fallen sick like my buddy. He's grown some whitish thingy all over him and they seem to hurt lots lots. I'm painful at heart to witness his sufferings. Well..tis isnt the first time he's having tt. It's usually seasonal kind of fish disease. *sad* Get well soon, my dear xiao Luohan as well as buddy! =D
Gotta catch Glass shoes on Channel 8. Btw, an actor from (I think) Channel U came down to HSBC today. However, I was totally oblivious of his presence eventhough he's jus in front of me. I only caught a glance of him and den cont with my own work. Not till Steve told us abt it. *Goodness Gracious* Even my colleague, Vidya who's served him hasnt gt any idea tt he's some star from MediaWorks too. Looks like he's not a prominent figure after all! *oOps oOps*
Yearn for the days of innocence
